The First TV series since the 60's (in Spanish)
scortez-116 April 2006
After the loss of the hegemony of the television productions serials, known in Latin America as "soap operas", Luis Llosa recaptures in Peru, with a fresh style and innovator, helped by a talented group of writers, producers and young actors, for "Carmine". Initially conceived as a remake of another soap opera " The Teacher Aldao ", it possesses the freshness and the color that is going to characterize Llosa's work - though good given in the style of the Hollywood system-, using the music, the image of the new talents. The soap opera used as springboard many of the members as the novel, in the different fields of the television accomplishment. Under the initial argument that (it makes remember to the previous novel), a rebellious and naughty student, that she lives under the cargo of a young and interesting aunt, falls in love with her teacher, to verify, with annoyance, that he is more interested in the aunt that in the niece. Students' Enrredos and plots secondary developed with interesting approach (the lazy brother who vindicates himself, the irresponsible father who suffers the consequences of his abandon, the auto sufficient woman and responsible that achieves the success), they did high place rating in a public who newly would meet identified (though not completely) with the archetypes light that were appearing.
