After watching the slightly cryptic porn movie "Blow Job Betty", I needed to see the sequel "Blow Job Bonnie", and found another head-scratcher. The same husband/wife team of Fred Lincoln and Patti Rhodes did the follow-up, but this time Fred directed, succeeding Patti as helmer (she wrote both scripts).
Seemingly addicted to being cryptic, the team begin the sequel with a new actress Bonnie Jo Bradley shown nude, taking a bath, with Tom Byron watching her as voyeur. He joins her in the bathtub and they begin to make love (strictly softcore) when she disappears via SPFX, leaving him alone -just a dream.
Movie begins in earnest with Byron as the filmmaker (Randy West was the director character in "Blow Job Betty" in trouble because his leading lady Betty has been acting up, holding up production on the sequel. (Only returning actor from the original is Britt Morgan, playing a variation on her previous supporting role). Britt is actively attempting to place a new actress in the lead, getting rid of prima donna Betty.
Patti's screenplay for the sequel is klutzy, beginning with the gimmick of never showing Betty -Britt and others complain about her a lot, but she's nowhere to be found. The original "Blow Job Betty" starred one Betty Jean Bradley, her stage name -no coincidence- mirrored in the ultimate lead Bonnie Jo Bradley of the sequel, and one immediately infers that Betty did not want to participate in the sequel, hence the contorted script nonsense. One fact is clear: both beautiful blonde Bradleys ended up as one-shot performers in porn, never making another movie.
Many scenes here are silly, nay ridiculous. Patricia Kennedy, a familiar redhead porn actress, does window washing topless (breasts squished against the glass in familiar "Cool Hand Luke" fahsion) to get Byron's attention as she campaigns to get cast in his movie, and later even coaxes Byron's leading actor Steve Drake to have sex with her, offering him a donut which she eats while it's on his cock during her blow job.
Another scene has the mysterious Bonnie lying on a couch nude, being watched from upstairs by Byron, who comes down and starts making love to her on the couch. Once again the softcore scene is interrupted by her disappearance -another erotic dream.
After plenty of extraneous sex scenes (Drake humping Byron's girlfriend Domonique Simone and a second interracial sex scene involving Britt humping Sean Michaels outdoors by the pool), Britt and Sean introduce Tom to their discovery to replace Betty in the picture -it's Bonnie! Byron's reaction is -that's my dream girl! (literally). He dismisses Britt and Sean, makes love, including a sensual blow job of course, to Bonnie and she announces: "Call me Blow Job Bonnie" -The End.
