Barry (played by Barry Lupino coincidentally) has himself in a right old mess. He's fallen in love! - thats not the problem though, the girl happens to be a distant relative, and he doesn't know it. Real kissin' cousins stuff!
Fear not though, by the time the film's 47 minutes running time are up, Barry has smoothed over the problem, won the girl and appeased his in-laws. The icing on the cake however is that he wins out with the family fortune as well. Only in Australia!
