Drea didn't try very hard in conjuring up CUPID'S ARROW, an XXX video that merely wastes a good title.
Premise is slapdash, as stockbroker Wardo sort of becomes Cupid, God of Love wearing pink tights, with what barely constitutes a plot injected via voice-over narration. Instead of arrows, he shoots a toy dart at a bowl of fruit, creating an instant aphrodisiac. Since the silliest aspect of porn (and latterly a lot of cable TV programming as well) is the speed at which characters hop into bed together, we must be thankful for the deus ex machina of aphrodisiacs to at least make these couplings seem reasonable.
With Karen Summer aboard in a jailbait role, the best thing about this clunker is casting in a leading part Rosemarie, an attractive unsung performer who looked to me to be one and the same with Rosemary Lorenz, subject of a recent Alpha Blue Archives tribute DVD and a favorite of mine from magazine rather than videos. Further research is needed before merging her currently separate IMDb listings.
Technique is poor, with Lisa De Leeuw's sex scene shot in blurry soft focus. Maybe Drea should have stuck to acting.
