- Normally none at times, but sometimes really silly or profane words are spelt on the letter board or are said by contestants if there are letters that spell these words. Words havs ranged from silly ones like "Farted" to fairly rude terms like "W**ker".
- One internet meme that is well-associated with the show has former co-host Carol Vorderman spelling "C*ntflaps" on the board and the contestants saying the term as well, but it's not real and is edited to make it look like it is a legitimate blooper.
