Good movie, poor acting.

i say poor acting, but it is strange because the actors play themselves in the movie. and they're not great at it. but the essential element in this movie is the story, very interesting story. but for a foreign audience i don't think this movie would work. but in a domestic setting this is and will be a Norwegian classic from the good old 50's. had this movie been made today i probably would have hated it, but this movie has it's charms. surprisingly there were some awful exiting moments on the screen. the fact remains that this movie is cool to watch because of the actors portraying themselves and the obstacles and terror they had to endure!

OK WW2 Movie

I don't know why Kontakt! is listed as a documentary at IMDb. It is about true events but that doesn't make it a documentary. The Movie is just around average.

The camera work is sometimes quite good but the same cannot be said about the editing or the set. The news films used in the movie is also quite different from the film stock and therefore too obvious to work. Some of the actors are good and some just so, so. The best part of the movie is the ones where the Norwegians spies are escaping from the Germans in the forest. Quite well done and breathtaking.

An interesting film though and well worth seeing.
