Three Blind Mice
12 July 2014 | by bobliptonSee all my reviews

Oswald and Bunny go to a Fireman's Picnic and make friends -- sort of -- with a lost kitten in this cartoon.

It's not a particularly good cartoon. It has some well-executed but hackneyed gags, like a fire ladder that comes alive and pursues the character. It also has a long discursion into the nursery song about the three blind mice that makes the cartoon seem cobbled together and aimed at small children. It may very well please them, but there isn't that much in this one for adults. While it is reasonable for the series to offer some individual cartoons for different audiences, it means that some will not be as pleasing for different groups. This is one of those.
