They were four: Two surfers who had a 'we-do-anything-for-money' business, their girlfriend (who couldn't decide which one was her true love) making a threesome kind of relation, and a kid that seemed to have more brain and maturity than all the previous three, TOGETHER. There were also supporting characters; the monstrous (sometimes literally) boss of the girl and her best friend, who in the course of the series had a VERY close encounter with an Extra-Terrestrial being and gave birth to a super-powerful baby. And there were satirical episodes, homage episodes, detective like episodes and the usual anything goes episodes. They fought all sort of treats to their private world and all sort of villains that they stumbled upon, and by doing that made a very funny show to watch, with memorable episodes and very few forgettable ones. Too bad it couldn't last forever!

The anthem of a generation.

This off-beat and highly underrated comedy series, was as a revolutionary breath of fresh air, amidst the still existent archaic soap operas. The show's sensibility (not plot) resembles somewhat "moonlighting", For it's blend of fun comedy, romance, and a certain sutle mockery of the film medium itself, by spoofing certain horror and adventure genres. Great stuff!
