The film was a one-man effort from writer/director/producer/cinematographer Moshe Guez. The first of its kind in Israel.
The film was released soon after Israel's Yom Kippur War of 1973 resulting in poor box office returns due to the nation's mourning.
The film's stars were comprised of a beauty queen, a star soccer player, and a convict.
The filmmakers rented out a highly isolated and bare one-room-farm to shoot the film at. After the filming the farm's electrical bill was so high that the owner was able to convince his electrical company, who didn't know about the film, that the bill had to be a mistake due to an electrical leak, as the farm was in the middle of nowhere with no electrical needs of its own.
For a chase scene, the director needed something threatening for the pursuer to be holding. The actor, who was an ex-con ran to his back yard and literally dug up a burried gun concealed in a sugar sack, which was used for the remainder of the film.
