Stacy Valentine stars as a would be documentarist, using her video camera to spy on and capture sex where she finds it, as well as interviewing people for her would-be epic. She captures mayoral candidate Randy West out strolling in full drag outfit with his lady Rebecca Lord, setting in motion West's desperate and violent quest to get her footage to avoid a scandal that would squash his political prospects.
Presumably shot on 35mm film from its look, the show masterfully merges reality and erotic fantasy, as many scenes could have occurred but seem more likely to be imaginary as the story progresses. Stacy's boyfriend Tony Tedeschi is bartender at a strip club where Shanna McCullough and Jeanna Fine, putting on live sex shows, and when Stacy is put in danger by West's hitman (an exaggerated Goombah performance by Bobby Vitale) she takes refuge living with the strippers and working as a waitress at the club.
Adding more kinky content is their co-worker Mitchell Gant, like West a transvestite who performs in drag at the club but is heterosexual in sex scenes, culminating in an orgy at the club. Resolution of the story is surprising and satisfying, leading to a very clever end credits sequence that serves as a currtain call for the cast.
