Less personal than his early ground-breaking films, Damiano's finale THE NAKED GODDESS has the master working on autopilot but is nevertheless of interest.
Buck Adams and Jonathan Morgan are the buddies whose cross-talk is less than scintillating. They're at a château run by Gloria Leonard, where Italian star Moana Pozzi is spotlighted - glamorously styled in an assortment of sex scenes.
Ostensible storyline has Buck trying to help out his pal who thinks he's gay. Morgan has sex with Moana but is unable to ejaculate, amplifying his fears. Pozzi's solution to try and cure him is a novel treatment -she will dress up as a man and have Jonathan hump her in the ass. If you think this makes no sense, wait till you see this dumb movie.
Along the way there's an abstract Andrew Blake styled sequence plus a stupid fantasy where Morgan dreams three girls are transplanting a rubber dildo to replace his dick.
Pozzi fans (she failed to make it in America, with this film not helping) may enjoy this, and at least it is shot in 35mm. However the creator of DEVIL IN MISS JONES and STORY OF JOANNA certainly tapered off in quality during the last 2/3's of his career.
