The Boomerang Effect
titus7_10 July 2000
If this film represents anything, its the fact that no matter how much you try to change your self or try to exorcise the demons of your past,no matter how far the boomerang is thrown,it will always come flying back at you. Despite the other behaviour concepts that this film touches on,it is mainly cause and effect that occupies the bulk of this film. For those who wish to see this film,Please take heed, beware all your past trangresions, somehow all of us will pay the price.

Somewhat poor film with some redeeming qualities
stynn18 June 2004
THE REUNION has some rather interesting ideas and themes that I felt were very poorly presented. I found a few plot points unraveled rather force-ed-ly (such as Louis' acquisition of the gun), and some motives were rather bizarre and awkward feeling. Some of the more positive elements of this film however, are the characters at some points. The final scenes do more to reveal character then much of the dialogue which I believe is intentional and rather well done. In the language of film, actions can be one of the most difficult means of conveying a character and his/her motivations. Overall though, I would not recommend this movie, since it is nothing special.
