Oh Man...

I used to own a comic book store back in the later parts of the 90's and I remember when I got Eyes to Heaven to sell in the store along with its comic book prequel Feeders. I remember reading Feeders and thought it was an interesting story with some psychological ideas. The comic book does not get you ready for what the movie has in store for you. I wish I could put a summary of what happens in the movie but it is so bizarre it makes Eraserhead look like a walk in the park. The soundtrack is extremely horrifying which adds a nightmarish feel to the movie but even without a soundtrack this movie is just a sick and twisted nightmare that you will remember for the rest of your life. Look for some great stop motion in this movie that is very reminiscent of Tetsuo: The Iron Man. And of course, this movie is in black in white which adds even more eeriness to this macabre masterpiece. 8/10 stars

Great film, but a little slow at times

This was a very creative and "artsy" film that was frightfully entertaining. The scenes in the woods are my favorite, as you really see the dark and evil presence portrayed well. The only beef I have is that a faster pace at certain moments would've been beneficial, because I found myself lost, confused or disinterested at certain "dragging" moments of the film. Overall, not a bad film. 8/10 stars in my book!

Odd, spooky, and, well.... odd.

While I really liked this movie, it was really very odd. I'm sorry to keep using that term, but it's the only way I can put it. The movie's about milk vampires, for poop's sake! I don't even know what it's all about, but the score by Mike Allred's band, The Gear, is one of the best I have ever heard in my life. If you like inde/underground cinema, seek this out! Also see Astroesque, another movie by The Droog Brothers.
