The plot revolves around mix-ups, mishaps and miss-matches, with Antal Pager, set to marry Zita Szeleczky, suddenly finding himself entangled with Lkari Tolnay, when he appears on the scene as she is about to attempt a half-hearted suicide. She further complicates things when Pager and Szeleczky are about to leave on their honeymoon.
Cast also includes Lajos Basthy and Ferencz Vendrey. Somebody else will have to properly spell and accent the names as shown in Hungary. "Bitter Honeymoon" was the USA review title (translated for the English-only readers) and is not the title shown on the US screen version. No need to change the US title.
