This is a Mister Magoo short from UPA Studios. There will be spoilers ahead:
Magoo on a cruise ship. With that simple concept, you can pretty much imagine what will fill out the roughly six minutes of cartoon. Magoo falls in the ship's pool and believes he's fallen overboard.
Magoo seriously annoys one passenger floating in the pool, providing the best gags in the short. Most of the gags in here are average. Magoo being a limited character makes some gags very familiar and predictable. Even the ending is a bit flat.
Jim Backus does his usual good job, but he's most of the fun here and that's not much. Still kind of fun even so.
Shout! Factory has released the Magoo theatricals and a Magoo feature film on a DVD box set. The box set is excellent and this short is worth watching once.
