Jack Mercer, the voice of Popeye, provided the voices of Popeye's nephews by having his voice sped up.
One of a number of Popeye shorts that was sent to Asia in the 1980s to undergo the infamous redraw and colorization process--which was a complete waste of money, as there already was a color remake, "Riot in Rhythm" (1950).
The nephews already have an anchor tattoo, just like their Uncle.
The instruments played by the nephew quartet are trumpet, piano, trombone and drums. They also improvise quite cleverly on a number of standard objects.
Each nephew's name is printed above their individual bathroom mirror cabinet and on the life preserver at the foot of each of their beds.
