Wicked is the label, but this pantomime nearly-silent Brad Armstrong-directed Serenity vehicle resembles the videos of rival labels like Adam & Eve due to its silent pantomime format. I enjoy this sort of Adult Entertainment, but it is out of step with current mores.
The beauty with the beautiful name, a Wicked "contract girl" (sounds awfully sexist but porn is infantile on these matters -as in grown adults talking constantly of shooting "boy/girl" and "girl/girl" scenes), is cast as sort concierge at Serenity Suites, a luxury hotel, but hardly a classy one given the amount of humping in public that goes on there. The pantomime format of her, via narration, telling us about the sexual antics she observed or participated in on-site is of course the Jerry Lewis structure of his classic "The Bellboy", but no actual comparison can be made between this and Jerry's G-rated Silent Era (without any narration) approach. For that, one needs to watch Devinn Lane in a different Wicked film "5 Rooms" - a classic made by Jim Enright three years later.
So how, one might ask if one were a believer in Adult Industry awards and hype, could Brad fail and Big Jim succeed in such a one-on-one contest for quality? Answer is simple: Brad is over-rated.
The vignettes are all rather arbitrary, with Serenity plugged in at a keyhole watching/listening, or thrust into the action on some pretext. Latter gimmick reaches its apotheosis when she fills in at a fetish fashion show, so auteur Brad can check off on his clipboard: "Latex/PVC fetish included", as Serentiy has a lesbian scene on a staircase, corsets and all with superstars Shayla LaVeaux and the inevitable Felecia.
Typical of the action is a finale starring Asia Carrera as a busy businesswoman hiring a gigolo to service her at the hotel: Mark Davis fills the bill.
Brad's all-star cast is nothing to sneeze at, but I doubt seriously whether fans of Raylene, Shanna McCullough, Roxanne Hall or the aforementioned stars are clamoring to see this baby. Its convenient jettisoning of dialog and actual story put it as an also-ran among the hundred-plus Brad assignments, while of course Serenity followers gotta salute.

If you search Adult "experts" and their on-line reviews of that feature, none of them deduced that fact, so immersed are they in a porn-centric universe where the only outside elements are those mainstream TV shows and movies that pornographers not only steal from (calling it "parody") but kindly identify by name in their titles so as to capitalize on someone else's work like parasites. It infuriates me, but the fans and the "critics" support this oughta-be-illegal practice slavishly and without question.
