A typical 50's historical fantasy film combined with love, adventure, curiosity, separation, sacrifice.
Ajit, who is known for portraying historical characters, is acting as usual. Geeta Bali plays the role of a traditional lover, in which she did not have much to portray. Pran portrays his anti-hero character as usual. Amir Banu gave the best performance in the film without a doubt. She portrayed the infinite motherhood of a mother very wonderfully. Gope's presence in some boring scenes in the film took away the dullness.
Special shout out to Minoo Mumtaz & her sister as well as Cuckoo for their screen presence in two songs.
The storyline doesn't have any uniqueness, made as a typical fantasy film. The climax is guessable. Somehow, I liked the action scenes in the film, which I feel like realistic.
The soundtrack is the plus point of the film. Most of the songs are romantic tracks, though I personally liked the rest of the two songs, ' Chhodo ji baiyyan mori' & 'Dil Humse Woh Lagaye ', which feature Minoo Mumtaz. Not a very great soundtrack, but a good one.
I would not rate this film as a great one in terms of acting and storyline. But quite an enjoyable one.
