Ordinary use of the gimmick, well-performed by Aja
lor_15 August 2022
Not much of a sequel or remake, this edition of the series merely cashes in on the incomparable fame of "Deep Throat" in Adult Cinema history, with Aja well-cast in the leading role.

Jerome Bronson, who also throws in a cameo for himself as a waiter, does a workmanlike job of directing some light comedy to the tale, heavily copying key elements of the Damiano original. Once more, our heroine suffers from a throat ailment, and the movie is structured clumsily as either her extended erotic dreams or flashbacks as she lies anesthetized in hospital as doctors prepare exploratory surgery on her.

Gimmick is that clit in her throat instead of her groin, which when sexually aroused expands, causing her discomfort and danger of asphyxiation. A doctor, well-played by Robert Bullock, takes on her case and gives her antibiotics, before ultimately having decided surgery is necessary.

Lightly comical sexual adventures ensue, and shots on location of the Golden Gate Bridge, including irrelevant scenes of Aja wandering near it, establish the tale as taking place in San Francisco. Her Aunt Penny (played by blonde Amanda Tyler) visits Aja and has a comical sex scene with co-star Peter North that is as corny as the rest of the show.

Other actresses also get to demonstrate deep-throat skills throughout the picture, and Aja is quite proficient in the final segment applying same to North, crudely intercut with visuals and music from the original movie. Linda Lovelace is not only featured in archive footage here but in rather shameless repeated plugging of the VHS of Damiano's movie which North and his roommate Mike Horner watch to turn on women.
