This movie was another Bhatt film that failed after the super hit Naam. But, this was before Saugandh, and Akshay Kumar was the girl's karate instructor. He has only a small role of helping the heroine advance through fighting the badguys. Preparations like these was Akshay's job, the movie was a flop but Akshay's first screen appearance was what people saw in theatres. The movie goes like this, a girl guy are in love, girl gets kidnapped, almost molested, she escapes, gets training from Khiladi Kumar, then she wins. Akshay was actually not a hero until Khiladi(1992). Saugandh is Kumar's debut to Bollywood but, this film is his first appearance. The movie has absolutely no decent story, actors are not worth being in the industry if they perform like this. Overall, another bad film which I only saw for Akshay Kumar. Fast forward to the scene with Kumar and then don't watch!
