Bhimsingh scripted many a tearjerker success in the 60s, mainly with the help of Sivaji's acting abilities and the Tamil filmgoer's appetite for such stuff. This one belongs right up there: Sivaji leads a happy existence with has wife and two daughters until an old friend lands up with a dark secret. Good songs and some fines performances. But for the tears....
