Top 10 Christmas List
As we begin the holiday season, my good friend Michael Connally asked me to put together a top 10-wish list for Christmas.
Cook’s “Top 10 for the Holiday’s” List:
10. Ronin Warriors – DVD Price - $20
I have never followed anime much, but at one point I thoroughly enjoyed Ronin Warriors. It was first introduced in 1988. Its plot centers around the demon lord of the Netherworld who is bent on conquering the mortal world. Standing against him and his four Dark Warlords are the five Ronin Warriors, each in possession of mystical armor and weapons. They are assisted by a young student-teacher, and a mysterious warrior-monk known only as The Ancient (Wikipedia). I found the storyline to be quite entertaining with each warrior’s powers balancing one another, as do their individual personalities. The tale also provides interesting inspiration from Japanese folklore / culture.

Imagine if you will… It’s a Tuesday night with nothing to do. There you are, sitting on your couch, flipping through channel after channel of mindless drivel. “Is there nothing Good on these days?!” you ask yourself. So in an act of desperation you flip your favorite VOD service on (or open your local video rental catalog) and marvel at the endless hours of entertainment. What to watch? Comedy, Drama? Television series? Feature Film? Who has the time play TV roulette?! Nobody, That’S Who! So in an act of kindness, I lay before you the ten best anime series of yesteryear (in no particular order) for you to burn your eyeballs with during those slow weekday nights! And let’s face it… If your already reading this, What Else would you be doing on a weekday night? Hmm?

Odds are if you’re surfing B3K, you have a little geek in you. Odds are if you have a little geek in you, you’ve heard of Milynn Sarley. Hailed by some as the ‘the coolest lady ever’, Milynn has starred in numerous ‘Team Unicorn’ videos which have gone viral, Hosted G4TV’s Attack of the Show! and she’s probably the only person who keeps Chuck Norris from sleeping soundly at night. I got to sit down with Miss Sarley and discuss Anime, guns and world domination.
Aaron M.K.: On your twitter account you say that you’re girl geek and technically you don’t exist, what started you down the path of geekdom?
Milynn Sarley: It was never “Hey I’m gonna set out on a path to become a geek!” My dad was a teenager when I was born and my Aunts,...

Less than two years after the release of "Inglourious Basterds," Quentin Tarantino is ready to start shooting again—and we mean that on more than one level.
Multiple reports have surfaced over the past few days that Tarantino is in the midst of scripting his untitled spaghetti western, a project that he's discussed numerous times over the years. Deadline has official confirmation from Tarantino himself, who says the script is already finished. He'll turn it into The Weinstein Company in roughly two months, according to the site.
Tarantino's long-awaited western is just one of the many news items we're fielding today, so click past the jump for details on Tim Burton's new project and a look at the new "Toy Story" short!
Brolin and Burton's Hunched Backs
Tim Burton has worked with some of the top talents in Hollywood, so it only makes sense that he'd want to team up with Josh Brolin.
