Stupid story of the Devil at work
Nominally a parody of the Peter Cook/Dudley Moore fantasy film, "Bedazzled" is a boring, unfunny and one-joke feature, going nowhere in a hurry.
Jonathan Morgan plays the Devil, styled as a fast-talking Hollywood agent. He's out looking for souls to take to Hell, and assigns Nick East to get him Mike Horner on a short deadline. Mike resists and even though Nick keeps trying he fails, setting up a phony happy ending.
It's merely an excuse for five sex scenes, with actresses like Leena and Rebecca Bardoux appealing enough. Many attempts at humor all fail, largely because the "hip" references are hopelessly dated, such as the Devil thrilled to hire Tony Tedeschi to his team when he learns that Tony was formerly Milli Vanilli's concert promoter. Hardy-har-har.
