This is the kind of movie which was obviously unworthy of the talented Maurice Ronet ("Plein Soleil" /(purple noon) or "Le Feu Follet" /(the fire within). And I'm sure that for the beautiful Virna Lisi ,who would be twenty years later the best Catherine de Medicis that ever was in a movie ("La Reine Margot") it's an unpleasant memory that is hard to forget.

Sergio Gobbi made turkeys by the dozen, but this one takes the biscuit. Not better (or perhaps worse) than a Harlequin romance -with a very unpleasant rape scene- ,it does not even take advantage of the splendid landscapes :the white cliffs of Etretat.

Take to your heels!
