A good old country boy of a judge
Toad-1829 December 1999
Judge Mills Lane respects the people in his court and seems to truly enjoy doing his show, unlike many other television judges. He's a good old country boy with a sense of humor. Even when a defendant or plaintiff is rude and unruly, he usually sees the humor in it all.

When Mills Lane presides, SHUT UP!!!

Before becoming a judge, Mills Lane had such a sophisticated background. He was a marine, boxer, referee, and an attorney. Now Lane has a show and he rules (literally), so SHUT UP!!!

Lane is a very serious judge; he has no time for nonsense. The entertainment value comes into play when plaintiffs and defendants bicker like kids at a nursery school. He hates being interrupted. He puts both parties in their places when there's no order (most of them are New Yorkers and you can tell by their accents) and mostly tells them to SHUT UP!!! Most importantly, we get to hear his famous quote, "Let's get it on."

Lane is also a fair judge. It's only a matter of time before he gets to the bottom of cases. The again, it depends on both parties. Sometimes he can dismiss cases when there's no cooperation from both sides. If you can learn from Judge Judy, you can learn more from Lane. If you happen to choose Lane as your judge, don't interrupt him. Just SHUT UP!!! My evaluation: B+.

My grandmother watches this show all the time. Mills Lane is a very strict judge. Then his announcer Kim announces the plaintiffs and defendants. Judge Mills Lane always tells them how to solve their problems sensational. Mills Lane used to be a boxer.

Bring back the Judge!

Why did they cancel Judge Mills Lane? The Judge had just the right tone for a court show. He was serious but always knew how to find the humor in his cases and in platiffs and defendants who were unruly and disrespectful. He defenitly deserves a second chance to prove himself to television viewers.
