Unwatchable comedy crap
lor_14 June 2023
An asinine screenplay (bad old Cash Markman is responsible) and listless line readings make for a most unfunny sex comedy in "Sweet Miss Fortune". It doesn't take long during a screening for the viewer to wonder "what were they thinking?".

Danielle Rodgers, staying in character to the detriment of any possible eroticism, is a bored rich woman, whose fiance Jon Dough is also bored. She can't appreciate sex and all they care about is money. Obviously easy targets for satire, but there's only groans here.

Randy Spears pops up as her fairy godfather named Bruce, playing it effeminate but completely unfunny. He should be embarrassed but was so much in demand as a porn player at the time this credit meant nothing careerwise.

He transports Danielle to a mansion owned by himself, also named Bruce but more of a male chauvinist rather than gay. His acting in this role is equally poor, just minus the goofy voice.

The rest of the film is strictly sex filler. Bruce is teaching Danielle a lesson -she's in a maid's costume forced to menial chores at his mansion. A couple of girls have lesbian sex outdoors, including Bridgette Monroe as a character named Lust. Dough shows up along with Danielle's best friend Nanette (played zombie-like by Kristarah Knight) and Jon cheats on his fiancee with her. A truly untalented stud, Blake West is on Bruce's staff, and he gets to have outdoor sex with Danielle.

Some people like to make fun of bad movies, even perversely lausing their badness, but this one just lies there, trying to put you to sleep.
