It was about 10 years ago when I first saw this masterpiece and I really could not believe that greek cinema could offer such a great piece of art to the world. A lot of discussion has been done about Aliki Vougiouklaki and a lot has been written about her acting abilities. But it seems that people often underestimate and tend to forget what a great actress Nonika Galinea has been. A possible explanation is that her antagonism with Aliki led her to extinction.
