This one was shot back to back with Parfait's (who's actually the son of adult industry veteran Henri Pachard a/k/a Ron Sullivan) ANCIENT Asian SEX SECRETS, using sets and costumes left over from Brad Armstrong's big budget ANCIENT SECRETS OF THE KAMA SUTRA. It's a lot more happy go lucky than either, save for the video format and enhanced female bodies rather akin to some of the silly little porno numbers from the early 70s with performers often unsuccessfully trying to keep a straight face at the sheer inanity of it all.
Kobe Tai (pretty face but WAY too skinny, making those pumped-up breasts look really out of place on her) stars as a sort of Oriental version of Sheherazade entertaining potentate Mark Davis, who has a habit of executing his one night stands at dawn, with sexy stories. Tai and Davis show great chemistry together in the final scene and she's no slouch either in her encounter with Colt Steele that has a great teasing build-up to a fairly hot grope. Chloe, in my humble opinion one of the best reasons to watch porn from the lean period this was made in, rarely disappoints but is sadly underused here.
Best of show is a hypnotic, almost ritually choreographed Sapphic setup involving Swift and Monique DeMoan whose haunting, melancholic sensuality never ceases to intrigue me. Production is pretty good with soft focus camera work by Parfait and a pleasantly eclectic soundtrack by 'Buster Gonads'. All in all, a satisfying overnight rental when you're in need of a little self-generated TLC.
