A Scotch story of a light comedy turn, featuring Elsie Albert as a lass with many lovers. The Scotch costumes furnish the principal atmosphere. The girl's father and mother each have favorite suitors for her hand, but she prefers Tammy, a country youth, who suddenly blossoms out as a soldier and wins over all rivals. The plot is engaging and contains a number of amusing incidents, but is not overly strong. It makes a pleasing change from the average run of comedies and is well photographed. - The Moving Picture World, October 31, 1914
