The only way to review this flick is to take stock of the goods (which are not that much so):
-A paratroopers base in Pau;their training ;their first parachute jump.
-Off duty ,the aforementioned men's search for love;their amorous adventures
-As they are very good soldiers,they are chosen to be part of the parade of the Bastille Day ,on the fourteenth of July.
-Plenty of ballets with (fully clothed) pretty Belles of Paris .
-A song written by Gilbert Bécaud .
-Nice filming on location ,on the streets of Paris ,permitting us to catch a view (in color) of Paris in the fifties.
-The Bastille Day ,complete with parade ,ball and fireworks (too short)
