Accompanying the rapid development thanks to the reform, the newly accumulated wealth also created different strata in Chinese society and those who are less fortunate could not enjoy the abundant material wealth like the rich ones and they just want to live a peaceful life that is not luxurious but enough to survive. This film reflects this voice of the less disadvantaged class.
