I really loved this soup opera! It's so cute, so passionate! The characters are made to make you fall in love with them, the story is so true, it could have happened to anyone in those days. The sacrifices they make, the spirit of fight some of them have is amazing, the love and faithfulness of a wife who can never forget her husband, the reality of the life the slaves had to endure, the way they suffered, the mischievous dealers... I specially adored Bete Coelho, I do love this actress, you know, she's amazing here, not one of the main characters but anyway she's so deeply engaged with her ideals that she goes as far as she can to fight for them that I was nearly breathless every time I saw her in the screen, she even made me cry! I really hope sbd else here knows sth about this, the characters are so lovable, unbelievable!
