Sheesh!

I'm not a big fan of these straight to Disney sequels and prequels, but the Hercules TV series was so funny that I thought it wouldn't hurt to see the video. It never left my local video store anyway, so why not. I admit, I wasn't all that surprised when it turned out to be 3 episodes being told as stories, however the way it was done made me want to throw something at the TV. The idea wasn't THAT horrible and I really enjoyed the episodes themselves, yet there is no excuse for the animation in the between scenes. It was so bad I'd close my eyes and just pretend those parts were a radio program. The acting was great and the dialogue kept everything pretty well to one story line, but it was obviously thrown together in such a hurry that they didn't even realize very few people would buy it. Just so it is clear that I didn't totally hate this video, I repeat that I really enjoyed the 3 episodes chosen for the tape and the fact that Susan Eagan and Tate Donavan were still in it.

Worthwhile if you haven't seen the series.

This Disney feature includes 3 episodes from the television show "Hercules" and a new connecting story of Meg (Susan Egan) learning about her muscled hubby's teen past when he was already strong but lacked control. The segments deal with his first day of High School and visits by the Grim Avenger and by his father, Zeus. In the voice cast, the key returnee is Tate Donavan as our Hero. I much prefer the Disney animation of the cartoons of the mid-30s and on, but this work by the TV people is adequate.

I didn't know about this movie called Hercules Zero To Hero it came out on august 17th 1999 i only know the Hercules (1997) and same goes with Chicken Little (1943) even though like i said before Chicken Little got a movie back in 2005, the song reminds of the same title so i have to say it is not on Disney+ so i never watched it.

Ηercules 2 is of the best sequel of Disney

Warning: Spoilers
Ηercules 2 is of the best sequel of Disney. I usually try to watch all of the Disney sequels I can, and have certainly been disappointed a few times, but this movie is proof to me that, sometimes, they do a great job! The film briefly gives Hercules' history after defeating Hades for good, in which he marries Meg and revisits his teenage years. In particular, it shows an adolescent Hercules's enrollment and the beginning of his adventures at the Prometheus Academy, a school for gods and mortals, which Hercules supposedly attended during the time when he was training to be a hero with his mentor, the satyr Philoctetes. After the Minotaur wrecks several temples in Athens, Hercules teams up with the Grim Avenger, a superhero who narrates his every move and is really Theseus (Eric Stoltz), a visiting prince who likes Cassandra (and who Adonis and Icarus mutually hate) to stop the beast, and finally Hercules is having trouble dealing with Adonis, so when he mentions it to his father, Zeus tells him to show him who's in charge. Hercules warns it's not that easy, so to prove him wrong, Zeus spends a day as a teenager. In total there are three very nice and funny stories.
