The Grand Finale

When I first saw the trailer of this series on one of my Fancy Lala Volumes. I had to say that after watching the last 2 chapters of this series, this was the next chapter I had to see,and I got to see it. When I bought the Anime Legends box set of this show on DVD on my 24th Birthday,I enjoyed it. The last 2 chapters of this show was cool, but this one was a whole lot cooler. Favorite characters in this chapter are: Cherry,Loreli, and Tamasaburo. And it's also a whole lot more funnier like the last 2 chapters. And the animation was also excellent than the previous chapters. But however, this one is the most outstanding chapter. So if you have seen the last 2 chapters of this series, then you have to see this chapter of Saber Marionette J. It's the best, and you will truly love it.

I must say I enjoy Saber J, but J to X, is changed completely.

The animation change a lot, personally, the heads of the characters look like fruits, and the worst, is the dramatic scenes. This last one(Dramatic Scenes) really annoyed me, the dramatic scenes become sometimes out of place, and they become really stupid sometimes. I am not saying that I don't like drama, its just that this scenes become so out of place, and the main characters personalities can become annoying. But not everything is bad, in J to X, now they are using more computer and 3-D effects, (you can say by yourself if you like this or not)and there is at least more color in this one.

Saber J to X, its not like saber J, but those who really enjoy saber J, would find J to X a good anime.

These are the final 26 episodes of the Saber Marionette J series. In these adventures we visit the country of Xian, one of the six city-states of the Planet Teratoo, hence the title "J to X". The character designs are pretty much the same as the first TV series with the drawings a little less rough looking. Bloodberry's costume is a little different but that is about the only change, Lime and Cherry look the same.

First of all I have to praise the producers for bringing the series to an end before they ran out of ideas as sometimes happens in other shows. In the first series we found out the true purpose of the marionettes with hearts and the story could have ended at that point with only a few loose ends. The second series explored a few important topics like the place for marionettes in the new world order and how Otaru will continue his relationship with his three androids. The purpose of the mysterious Dr. Hess from the first series is revealed. A big surprise happens in episode 25 and I understand episode 26 never appeared on Japanese TV but went to video instead. If you liked the original adventures you will definitely want to see the conclusion. Somehow Otaru always manages to avoid choosing his favourite marionette!
