Superb!
Yes! This is the animated cartoon film that makes me laugh all these years! To tell the truth, I have never seen a funnier film yet! The story is quite simple - a curious ant is up on a high birch tree and he is blown away on a leave by the wind. He has to get back by the sunset, or the ant's heap will close down for a night. So, the brave little ant comes back. He injured his little leg, so his way is a more dangerous one. He meets a proud stinky bug, a funny little midget insect, who helps him, a grumpy beetle who has his own views on the young people, he escapes death from the heron's beak, and he nearly drowns or even sinks... But the voices! The very voice of the ant, slow, melancholic and near hysteric is so great that it makes you roll with laughter all the time... And the quality and the very details of every little thing drawn! This is a true National Geographic story but made for kids... Excellent, sweet and very humorous.
