This was one of my favorite stories when I was a young girl.I believe this is because it illustrates how a person with a good heart and a lot of misfortunes in life finally succeeds to reach happiness for herself and her loved ones.
Kulla-gulla is known to be one of the girls favorite classics in Sweden. If you like shows such as Anne of Green Gables and Little Princess, you will probably like Kulla-Gulla as well.
I think Lisa Jahrenskog was a good choice for the role as the intelligent, hardworking and kind Kulla-Gulla. I recommend this show for all ages. It think it was made for children but it is well worth watching also for grown-ups.
