According to Rob Paulsen, during one particular recording session Carol Channing was wearing a heavily-starched white shirt which unfortunately kept interfering with the recording. After several blown takes the 71-year old iconic actress announced, "Oh, for chrissake you've all seen it before." She then removed her shirt and proceeded to perform the role of Grandmama Addams in her bra for the entire episode.
