Canadian Vignettes

Warning: Spoilers
Canada Vignettes are short films by the National Film Board of Canada: Some of those shorts were animated (Like this one, for example, or "The Log Driver's Waltz", which I liked a lot) and each one of them made a very interesting depiction of different aspects from the culture and history of Canada.

"Canada Vignettes: Riverdale Lion" is an animated interpretation of the poem Riverdale Lion by John Robert Colombo, which despite being incredibly brief (It only last one minute) is also very captivating and whimsical.

The animation style from this short film was very beautiful, capturing perfectly well the tone of the poem.

I liked this "Canadian Vignette" a lot.

A Must-See Short!

This short film was absolutely perfect and should to be seen by the world. I love the message and the animation. As children we are brought to visit the animals at the zoo, not realizing the reality behind it all. A fantastic short, I highly recommend it.
