As a US citizen with several Canadian friends, I like to tease them that Canada is the US's mother-law apartment, with a character very close to ours, but maintaining its own existence. I like Canada and Canadians; my godmother was Canadian, they seem, on average, kinder and more polite than Americans, and cursed with a massive inferiority complex when they look south at their big, fat neighbor. However, there are a lot of them, each with his or her own issues, and convinced that their country, their people, their government, pays them far too little attention. Well, that's true down here, too.
That's the point this short makes, with good humor and compassion. Sorry, guys, it's not a Canadian problem. It's universal.
