- Pervasive body horror is the name of the Strogg's game; the various monsters you face are disturbing wretches of fused organic life and mechanical body parts, none of which look natural.
- The player will find captured Marines in a state of complete mental breakdown due to extensive torture. These soldiers either bang their fists in a maddened fit against the floor or nearby wall, simply wander in a haze or crawl around helplessly, all of whom either emit choking cries or beg for help/to be killed. This is a harrowing sight.
