Only four 16mm prints of this film were made but hadn't been heard of since the 1980s. The negative had long disappeared after the lab went bust and the film was considered 'lost' with only one well worn VHS copy known to exist. However in 2022 a film print turned up on eBay and was bought for £50 by a film archivist and it is this print that had been digitally remastered and released onto DVD.
Made during the height of the Belfast troubles in 1975, Billy Connolly said he was concerned that there might be problems during the concert, especially when more than twenty weapons were confiscated by security on the door. However he said he finally realized he had won the audience over when the only thing thrown at him was a red rose.
