Where to start? I've seen worse acting, but some of it here really took the cake. Poor post-production, including some obvious audio-visual non-synchronization. A decent enough story to start with, but some really ugly dialog mars it quite a bit. At least the ending wasn't blindingly obvious too far in advance. Maria Conchita Alonso did okay with her wretched part, and her acting is not what I criticized earlier. The problem was that she was so beautiful in the past, her looks now are a bit of a let-down. I know that actresses have to try to look young, but MCA, whether by plastic surgery, or Botox, or whatever, doesn't really look at all like herself. I've seen this with some other actresses, too, and I don't have a good answer for them. This doesn't work, but I suppose doing nothing doesn't either. TIme marches on...

Not Too Hot

When I saw that this " thriller " starred a woman I thought it was going to be some sort of hot latino chick blows away bad guys type movie , but it doesn`t happen like that , it plays out as " A women gets kidnapped " type drama that you`ve seen umpteen times on The Living Channel except for one important difference - there`s a lot of nasty violence involved , or rather a lot of nasty violence involving women in a film that has a trite script and rather poor production values , which had me wishing I was watching a hot latino chick blowing away bad guys
A Surprised Thriller

I had no expectation from this one and watched this on free Sunday afternoon. I know its some sort of b-grade movie starring Jeff fahey. But after watching the movie i m totally impressed, specially the way this thriller is directed. And I specially liked the role, of Jeff Fahey, he is very different here but his screen time is very limited. Story is interesting and grab your attention immediately after the actress kidnapping. If the same story was made with big A- category stars then I am sure it will be Oscar winner or nominated. But this one is really good, even a surprise one and good perfromace by Jeff and Eddie. I will rate this 7/10 (only prob here is a week start)
