Disappointing Galabru
deadraque10 January 2003
Well after more then 200 movies, this must be in the top 10 of worst movies from Michel Galabru, i also think that too serious movies don't fit him like this one, anyway the movie is stupid, without any surprises, boring, extremely bad acting and a very but very bad script. I think series like Mac Gyver and Navarro are more intelligent then this crap, and makes Derrick a masterpiece compared to it. This should never had been a TV-Movie but just a little story for a German or French series.

Sorry 1/10 but really this is not worth being seen ever.

The retired general practitioner.
zutterjp486 December 2021
Léopold Salvat is a retired general practitioner who lives in Monmartre: suddenly Léopold becomes involved in a story of armed attacks against a gas station and then against a pharmacy. Rémi Cassin , a young man who has been in prison and recently has been released is the suspect number one for the shop owners of this neighborhood. Besides Rémi was the boyfriend of Sophie Salvat ,Léopold's daughter. Léopold is quite bad tempered because his daughter is involved in this story.

An interesting film about the life of a neighborhood, about the relationship of Léopold and Sophie, about the relationship of Rémi and Sophie.

And of course the good performances of Michel Galabru, Florence Geanty, Antoine Chain, Gil Lagay, Jeanne Goupil, Firmine Richard and Anthony Debaeck.
