The King of Hypochondria Returns to his Roots...
Isaac585512 September 2007
Richard Lewis returned to his stand-up roots in RICHARD LEWIS: THE MAGICAL MISERY TOUR which was the first HBO concert Lewis filmed after the cancellation of his popular ABC sitcom ANYTHING BUT LOVE. Taped live from Greenwich Village, Lewis proudly proclaims his return to the East coast with this fast paced hour which covers such a myriad of topics that Lewis actually brings a list on stage so that he doesn't forget anything. Lewis covers several subjects here including NY vs California lifestyle, prostate exams, TV fishing shows, Judism (of course),parents, and sex education. Don't be fooled by Lewis' laid back delivery because the punchlines come at breakneck speed and Lewis does not wait for laughs...his mind moves at a razor-quick pace and expects the audience to keep up. Attention must be paid and comic rewards abound here if you do so.

Crazy sound

For some reason they put a mic on some insane broad in the audience and she laughs nonstop in your left ear the entire show. I hope bad things happened to her and everyone involved in making this.
