This is a very good softcore video from Playboy/Image. Plot? The city girl visits her friend's farm, which the bank is threatening to foreclose on, they need a good rain, evil development company, blah, blah, blah. The reason this farm is failing should be obvious. First, it only has 5 employees. Second, the first reason doesn't matter anyway, because everyone's too busy having sex with each other to do any work.

The sex however is great. The running time clocks in at 1:46 and there are 12 sex scenes, although a couple of those are pretty short. 11 are boy/girl pairings and 1 girl/girl. There's music playing during the scenes, but you can still hear the sounds of the performers. And except for the 2 shortest scenes (which are "fantasy segments"), all the scenes carry through to completion without any annoying interruptions.

The girl/girl scene is Monique Parent and Lauren Hays (and a bottle of baby oil) and is very good. Lauren Hays is in 5 of the other scenes. Monique Parent is in 2 of them. Allison Thomas-Miller has 3 scenes and Keri Crawford has 2. All of these women are knockouts and all give great performances. Although Lauren and Monique were the stars, I thought Keri stole the show. She's a beautiful blond with a great body and some very sexy tan lines.

There are a lot of different locations and props used: the hood of a car, a boat dock by the lake, an outdoor shower, a barn with chains hanging from the rafters. About half the scenes are outdoors and the rest indoors.

Excellent softcore and very easy to recommend.

Lauren Hays and Monique Parent were at the forefront of the 90's softcore film explosion and are at their best in Temptations, which combines great (and inventive) sex scenes with at least the semblance of a plot - farm about to go under, couple trying to save it as part of a family legacy, and a nefarious guy trying to take the land for his own business interests - and some halfway decent acting in amongst all the skin and romantic entanglements.

To be honest, it's hard to look past Parent and Hays, especially in one scene that features them wearing nothing and wielding a bottle of tanning oil - definitely worth the price of admission, as the old saying goes. The film has a nice resolution, and should be remembered as one of the better films of it's kind.
