A behind the scenes look at the filming of The Night of the Iguana (1964) directed by John Huston and starring Deborah Kerr and Richard Burton among others. The film was shot on location on a site 8 miles south of the remote town of Puerto Vallarta. Huston speaks to liking location filming and builds an entire village to house the more than one hundred crew. He admits to a fondness for Mexico. This promotional short for The Night of the Iguana (1964) focuses on how director John Huston puts his particular vision of a story on film. For this project, the cast and crew had to take a half-hour boat ride to get to the small village that Huston chose for location shooting.
