At Thanksgiving, Tucker plots to reunite his parents by bringing his father, Marty, along to the diner where Jeannie is stuck working for the holidays. However, Marty's vapid new girlfriend, Debi, whom Tucker calls a homewrecker, and Jeannie's reluctance to let Marty know where she works stand in his way. Meanwhile, Leon tries out for the wrestling team.

After Claire and McKenna's mother, Jessica, get into an argument over Seth Green, Claire decides to run against her in an election for block captain. When Tucker hears that a block captain can ban a person -- like Seth -- from the neighborhood, he readily agrees to manage Claire's campaign or rather to smear Jessica's. However, when McKenna comes to Tucker with just the opposite proposition, all Hell breaks loose.

Tucker plans to make McKenna jealous when another girl at school, Juliette, starts checking him out. Trying to make a move on his new secret admirer, Tucker invites Juliette to a classmate's luau. But when Tucker overhears McKenna and her friends talking about French kissing, he realizes he doesn't have a clue how to get to that base with Juliette -- until he catches Debi's "you can ask me anything" commercial on TV. Meanwhile, Claire and Jimmy take Jeannie out to a karaoke bar to cheer her up after she becomes depressed over her questionable parenting skills, while Leon goes into business selling candy to other kids -- at jacked-up prices.

Tucker's joyride with McKenna, who stole her parents' car and doesn't have a license, could mean a lifetime grounding for both of them when McKenna rear-ends another vehicle. Tucker's quick thinking with the old lady McKenna crashed into (as well as the damage done to her parents' car) may very well save the day, but an ill-placed high five that lands squarely on McKenna's boob leaves Tucker as fearful of the consequences as McKenna. Meanwhile, Jeannie helps Leon get a job as a busboy at the place where she works, only to regret it later when Leon starts demanding that all the customers eat every last morsel on their plates.

Tucker wants to build a half pipe in the backyard, despite Claire's protests that he can't because kids will get hurt and sue, and it will be ugly. However, Tucker won't take no for an answer, and, via liability waivers and strategically-placed fruit trees, proves to Claire that she's got no cause for worry. Soon, he has got half the neighborhood helping him to build it. Meanwhile, Jeannie finds a wad of Leon's cash in her room, and tries to figure out how he got it and why he put it where he did.

Seth Green goes on vacation and leaves his pet iguana with McKenna, whose parents won't let her have it in the house. Thinking it's the perfect bridge to dating McKenna, Tucker offers to take care of it until Seth returns even though he'll have to keep it a secret since Claire doesn't want it in her house any more than the Reeds do. The iguana turns out to be nowhere near as housebroken as McKenna swears it is -- which makes Claire think that Leon is wetting the bed again. Later, the iguana wets Tucker's bed and Claire puts Tucker through a humiliating 12-pee program.
