- Horror over the Pacific in the form of Japanese perfidy is the theme of this special two reel attraction. Shows how the double dealing Japs caught their victims unaware. How, while they urged disarmament to the other nations, they themselves built large navies and armies. It presents the irrefutable story of Japanese treachery, step-by-step, and shows actual scenes from the many diplomatic moves made by Japan which she used to build her strength against the day of the vicious surprise attack upon the United States. Shown in amazing photography is each move made by Japan in her chain of aggressions - Manchuria, Shanghai, Chungking, Burma, Pearl Harbor - and the reckless and wanton bombing of homes, hospitals, and defenseless cities. The U.S., however, has the answer to the "Menace of the Rising Sun." That answer is in machines, guns, ammunition, tanks, planes, ships - as men jam the recruiting stations, America is seen at top speed. President Roosevelt's declaration of war touched off a production surge that surpasses anything in the nation's history and the "Menace of the Rising Sun" end, as it should, beneath the tramping feet of America's free men.
