For those of us who live for those special moments of exhilaration, the past week of professional wrestling programming has been in no short supply of them. From Tna’s No Surrender to Lucha Underground’s Ultima Lucha, several promotions where already prepared to bring their best.
Matt Hardy fought in a Full Metal Mayhem match for the Tna Championship. Vampiro gave a surprising violent performance against his rival no more at Lucha Underground’s season finale. Even on Monday Night Raw, Neville provided a few insanely tense moments of his own when he came this close to winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
This article will rehash all of the more exciting moments of the past week and scour the most insane spots that aired on TV. Lucha Underground, Raw, Nxt, Ring of Honor, Smackdown, and Tna Impact are all viewed and considered, but only the most insane spots get featured.

It’s a good thing that the pro wrestling landscape is so vast at this stage in history because the best matches as of late have not been originating from the biggest wrestling companies. A top ten list of the best weekly bouts might be difficult if it was up to only the major players like WWE and Tna.
WWE’s main roster only boasts one match on this week’s top ten and even more surprising is that nothing from Raw made this list. Raw is three hours long so there should be several contenders from that show on any given week, but this week there isn’t. Nxt was able to chart one of their matches and considering that’s only a one-hour program, that’s not too shabby.
Tna didn’t fare that well either. Their Full Metal Mayhem match was insanely good, but really...

After last week’s Full Metal Mayhem, I was interested to see the second dose of Impact from Corpus Christi. There was a lot more action and a lot less Hogan. Although, the hand we were dealt with the Aces and Eights might not have been the strongest no matter how many beat downs they do. But I’ll explain soon enough.
Impact Wrestling began with a video package detailing the events of last week and that Jeff Hardy would not be appearing on this weeks episode. Then we go backstage and see the Sergeant in arms for Aces and Eights Devon talking to be younger, Garrett Bischoff and Wes Brisco that they need to take their match with Kurt Angle very seriously because he’s dangerous.
Wes and Garrett make their way to the ring but before we see Angle they give us a video package detailing the whole...

There’s a saying that everything is bigger in Texas and that proves to be true on this weeks impact from Corpus Christi, Texas. We even had the opening shown which never happens, usually on television. And to prove that, Hogan wants to talk to Hardy about his Full Metal Mayhem later tonight.
The action begins with the tag team title match two out of three falls as Austin Aries and Bobby Roode battle Hernandes and Chavo. The expectation at least in my opinion, is when two out of three falls happens it’s expected to have a long match. However, the first two falls of this match happened within the first five minutes. So why have the stipulation in the first place? If you don’t have time for it, why do it? That being said, the match was solid and everybody worked hard. It just felt very expedited.

Tna Bound For Glory 2011
October 16th, Live from Philadelphia
Obligatory shot of the Liberty Bell and of course Rocky before we move into the Bound For Glory hype video. Then we are listening to Stain’d (for the first time since 2001 if you’re anything like me) as we go Live into the arena. You’d think for their biggest show of the year they’d have some pyro.
X Division Title
Brian Kendrick vs. Austin Aries
Lockup, the crowd strongly behind Austin Aries for some reason. We are in Philly tonight, the crowd could be interesting. Kendrick hip toss and a side head lock take over or three. Austin gets out of each one with an easy head scissors. Kendrick dropkicks him outside, where Aries decides he needs a time out. Of course Kendrick cant resist a vaulting cross body block. I can understand them cheering who they want.

HONG KONG -- Production has started on Emperor Multimedia Group's sequel to its 2003 summer action hit Twins Effect. Twins Effect 2, starring Charlene Tsoi and Gillian Chung, who form the highly popular pop duo Twins, will mark the first EMG film to roll into production since Albert Lee took over the helm of EMG from Carl Chang in May. Despite the name, Twins Effect 2 will not strictly be a sequel to Twins Effect, which grossed $3.7 million. While the first installment -- directed by Dante Lam and Donnie Yen -- was about two young vampire hunters, the sequel will be a period martial arts piece with Choi and Chung as two warriors from an all-female country out to conquer men. The sequel will be directed by Patrick Leung (Demi-Haunted) and also stars Daniel Wu (Purple Storm), Edison Chen (Gen-Y Cops) and Jackie Chan's son, Jaycee Chan, in his film debut.
HONG KONG -- Luke Goss and Michael Jai White have signed to star in Michelle Yeoh's new futuristic film, Masked Crusader, which starts principal shooting today in Beijing. Goss, last seen with Wesley Snipes in Blade 2, plays a mastermind aiming for world domination with an artificial intelligence chip embedded in cell phones. American actor Mark Hicks (Gen-Y Cops) and White, who will soon appear in another made-in-China film, Kill Bill by Quentin Tarantino, will play Goss' trained killers. The three are scheduled to join the cast when production moves to Shanghai next month.
