Ambika & Sathyan Team Up

They team up to give us a delicately woven family story. This film is about the issues cropping up inside the family after the marriage of two sons.Thomman (Kottarakka Shreedharan Nair), a lorry driver is loyal and honest to his master Meenachilkaran (Adoor Bhasi). In return, Meenachilkaran offers him a lorry, and a house in which to stay along with his family consisting of Achamma (Kaviyoor Ponnamma), his wife and two sons. With time, Thomman turns into a rich businessman who owns several buses, automobile workshops, and trucks. Paappachan (Sathyan), his elder son runs his business, while Kunhachan (Madhu), younger son is of carefree nature, who is also in his final years in college. Kunhachan fells in love with Marikkutty (Sheela), Meenachikaran's daughter, while Pappachan is in love with Shoshamma (Ambika), daughter of -kapyar (Joseph Chakko), an old feudal family, who had lost all his wealth with time. With the consent of parents both Kunhachan and Paappachan marry their heart throbes. But life turns into more troublesome after the marriage. Both Shoshamma and Marikkutty gets into petty quarrels leading to serious clashes inside the house. Things even went out of hands with both the brothers getting into physical fights in front of the parents. In such a fight between Kunhachan and Paappachan, Thomman and Achamma interferes, but accidentally, the blow hits on Achamma's head leading to her death, shocking everyone.

This movie has some very romantic songs and situations and the plot has some unusual twists. All in all a movie worth watching.
